Our Mission & Purpose

Access to clean, safe menstrual and personal hygiene products is a basic human need—but for millions of women and girls in the U.S., it remains out of reach.

Women experiencing homelessness or living on the streets face an even greater challenge. When resources are limited, hygiene products are often the first to be sacrificed. This can force women to stretch pads or tampons beyond safe limits or use unsafe alternatives like tissue, rags, or socks, increasing the risk of infection and discomfort. Lack of access also affects confidence, mobility, and the ability to fully participate in daily life.

Public assistance programs like SNAP, WIC, or Medicaid often don’t cover hygiene products, leaving women with few options to maintain basic dignity.

Dignity for Her bridges this gap. We provide clean, safe menstrual and personal hygiene products directly to women in need, ensuring they don’t have to choose between food, shelter, and basic dignity. Our work is grounded in compassion, respect, and the belief that no woman should feel ashamed or invisible because she cannot afford hygiene products.

By addressing this often-overlooked need, Dignity for Her helps protect women’s health, restore dignity, and create a foundation for stability and self-worth.
